Litha Celebration
Our Litha celebration will be on Sunday, June 23, 2013! For more information about the event and directions, please email us! Along with that, if you plan on attending just give us a heads up! We are an open circle and everyone is welcome. Plus, there will be candy!!!!

The Coming Samhain
Hello Everyone!
I hope your semester is going well, and that midterms are not too bad! As you know Samhain is coming up, and campus witches wants to celebrate!
So what are we going to do?
Glad you asked!
Ritual will be the weekend before halloween, and on halloween Aine will be giving out candy around campus to little children if you want to join her.
Samhain is about remember both the good and the bad from the past year and welcoming a new future.
It is a great time to reconnect with friends and family, and gods and goddesses.
For those of you who can make it to the ritual, there will be dancing, laughing and crying as we remember the people we have lost and give thanks to the people we have.
As the date draws near, we will give more information about the exact date and time. It will likely be Saturday the 27th at 12 pm (noon), beside the memorial chapel on the university of Maryland college park campus.

Mabon Ritual
Ok everyone, It's officially one week till Mabon! Only seven day!
The ritual will be held at the University of Maryland, on South hill, next to the chapel.
Ritual will begin at noon, and afterwards we will probably go and grab some grub on route one.
Basically these directions are for people who know their way around campus. If you are not from campus, here are some more concrete directions:

Driving: I don't drive, so I'm not going to even try to give directions. Here is the University address:
950 Baltimore Avenue College Park, MD 20742.
Once you get on campus, ask for directions to the chapel, and then find parking. You will see us, we are on the left side of the chapel if you are facing the front.
Metro: Take the green line to Greenbelt, the exit at college park station.
Take a university of Maryland bus (104 bus) to the campus. You will get off at STAMP (ask driver). Once you are off the bus you will want to go to South hill, or South campus (ask around).
Ask for the way to the Chapel. We're next to it.
We begin at noon and there will be singing, laughter, calling on the four elements and of course inviting different Gods and Goddesses to celebrate Mabon with us.
As a bonus there will be candy!

Mabon
Mabon is right around the corner, and campus witches is trying to decide how to celebrate and what to do. Let us know what you think we should do. As of right now, we will be celebrating on the university of Maryland campus, and then we will head over to route one for some grub. Ritual will most likely begin at noon or so, but if anyone has a specific venue or activity they would like to do, please don't hesitate to speak up! All suggestions are welcome!

Passing of Lughnasadh
Oh my has Lughnasadh already passed? That is too bad, but I hope everyone had a great Sabbat!
I hope everyone is getting ready for school, or if you're already in school good luck with the coming semester!
